    Ingredients:

    1. Phase A:
      • Water (Distilled): 65%
      • Glycerin: 3%
      • Sodium Benzoate: 0.2%
    2. Phase B:
      • White Beeswax: 7%
      • Sweet Almond Oil: 10%
      • Shea Butter: 5%
      • Emulsifying Wax: 5%
    3. Phase C:
      • Preservative (e.g., Phenoxyethanol): 0.8%
      • Vitamin E (Tocopherol): 1%
      • Essential Oil or Fragrance: 0.5% (optional)
    4. Phase D:
      • Citric Acid Solution (10% in Water): Adjust pH to 5.5 – 6.0

    Instructions:

    1. Phase A Preparation:
      • In a heat-resistant mixing vessel, add distilled water.
      • Mix in glycerin and sodium benzoate until fully dissolved.
    2. Phase B Preparation:
      • In a separate heat-resistant vessel, combine white beeswax, sweet almond oil, shea butter, and emulsifying wax.
      • Heat the mixture gently using a double boiler until all solids are melted and the mixture is uniform.
    3. Combining Phases A and B:
      • Heat Phase A to the same temperature as Phase B (approximately 70°C or 160°F).
      • Slowly add Phase B to Phase A while continuously stirring using an immersion blender or a high-shear mixer until the mixture is homogeneous and begins to thicken.
    4. Phase C Addition:
      • Once the mixture has cooled to around 40°C (104°F), add the preservative, vitamin E, and essential oil or fragrance if using.
      • Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
    5. Phase D pH Adjustment:
      • Check the pH of the mixture and adjust to the desired range (5.5 – 6.0) using the citric acid solution. Add drop by drop, stirring well after each addition.
    6. Final Mixing:
      • Continue to mix until the cream reaches room temperature and achieves a smooth, creamy consistency.
    7. Packaging:
      • Transfer the finished base cream into clean, sterilized jars or bottles.
      • Seal the containers tightly and label accordingly.

    Storage:

    • Store the base cream in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

    • This versatile base cream can be used as-is for a moisturizing effect or customized with additional active ingredients, essential oils, or fragrances to create a variety of specialized skincare products.

This formulation provides a rich, nourishing base cream that leverages the emollient and protective properties of white beeswax, making it an excellent foundation for a range of cosmetic and skincare applications.
