Palm kernel oil has been consumed for over 5000 years. It is a vegetable oil derived from palm fruit. In its refined grade, it is reddish in color because of high beta-carotene content. To obtain much stable oil, this crude oil is refined, bleached, and deodorized. Palm kernel Oil contains a refatting agent that helps restore and condition the skin, leaving it soft and supple. Palm kernel Oil is one of the most used oil in soap products. It is because its great temperature stability and for its ability to remove oil and dirt from hair and skin.
